SWC Pop-Up Art Exhibition

The SWC exhibition, held from 4th to 6th February 2022 at the Red Brick Building (TRBB) in Glastonbury, showcased a diverse range of artists involved with SWC in 2022. This free, non-profit event aimed to foster connections among local creatives and promote Somerset-based artists, designers, and curators. Featuring 10 artists experimenting with various mediums, all participants had direct involvement with SWC in 2021. Over three days, the exhibition attracted more than 200 attendees, including over 120 at the private viewing. TRBB, a community-owned social enterprise located in the former Morlands Factory, provided an innovative venue for the event.
Roles – Responsibilities included event planning, floorplan setup, artwork hanging, set building, and take-down. Managed logistics, artist recruitment, and coordinated performers, photographers, and venue allocation. Oversaw marketing, social media, sponsorships, and budgets, as well as POS marketing, giveaways, and event administration.
