At the New Designers show, a total of 33 awards were presented, covering every design discipline. Each award category was backed by a prominent industry figure, and winners were meticulously chosen throughout the week. All awards were announced at the conclusion of the show.

The final 1:1 scale stand was constructed in the university workshops with careful consideration for transportability and reusability. It was essential to design the stand for flat packing to facilitate transportation from Brighton to London and ensure easy assembly on-site. Additionally, a key objective was to build a piece that could be repurposed by the university after the show, maximising its long-term utility and sustainability.
The build process involved a dedicated team of 13 students selected by the university to showcase their work at the exhibition. Two weeks before the first day of the exhibition, each individual selected to exhibit was assigned specific roles, and together, we collectively invested long hours to create and construct the stand.
